200 RYT Program for 2021 and Yoga Teacher Workshops
Our sister yoga studio a couple doors down, Dragonfly Yoga Studies, is launching a 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) program in 2021. This is an enriching program that is unparalleled to anything else offered in this area. Laura Tyree and her expert team have spent over 20 years refining this yoga teacher training program and have certified hundreds of people to be yoga teachers. Whether you are aspiring to become a yoga teacher or just wanting to deepen your practice, be prepared to be transformed as you are immersed in the study, practice, and lifestyle of yoga.

Also, anyone with 100 hours of yoga training experience is welcome to join us for an unforgettable weekend with Doug Keller from Friday, January 15th – Sunday, January 17th. Doug will lead this Weekend Immersion talking about Working with Our Aches and Pains through the Lens of Yoga. In this three-part training, Doug will offer some fundamental and useful self-awareness tools useful to teachers guiding students in their yoga practice, particularly with respect to working with some very common patterns of chronic aches and pains.
What this training offers is a set of three fundamental ‘body maps for observing, understanding, and feeling tendencies in our everyday posture and movement that are commonly at the root of typical pain and movement problems — and principles for fine-tuning and focusing your practice of fundamental yoga poses and vinyasas. HITT Yoga at Studio B
Our new space next door to Hot Yoga is Studio B and it’s featuring our new HIIT yoga classes. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. Best described as a cardio-vascular workout, it is arranged in short bursts of vigorous movement, with periods of rest.
This 30 or 60 minute non-heated, practice combines Yoga with HIIT. Students will experience a focus on strength and intensity that will help expand both your yoga practice and cardiovascular fitness. This class is more challenging than your typical yoga class. Make sure to bring a yoga mat, water, towel and shoes are recommended. Experience this awesome workout for yourself. 300 AYTT Update – Successful and Fun Launch
Earlier this month, our sister studio Dragonfly Yoga Studies officially launched its 300 AYTT program – finally! We had an incredible group of ladies start their journey together, led by Moira Anderson from River Rock Yoga, Laura Tyree and Melissa Shalongo.

Living the Radiant Life at the Hot Yoga Om Studio
We’ve been rejuvenating our mind, bodies and souls all summer at the Hot Yoga Om Studio. Between our regular hot yoga classes and the ever-popular HiiT classes next door at Studio B, our instructors and students have been heating it up with some great hot yoga classes. All 200ryt students are invited to take part in a comprehensive and enriching program with an unparalleled line up of instructors. Yoga Classes for Beginners
Whether you are new to fitness classes or interested in what yoga is all about, we have hot yoga classes that are perfect for the beginning stages. You will soon discover that yoga is beneficial for some much more than just your body. It’s about an astounding mind / body connection that will leave you relaxed inside and out. Here is a beginner’s guide with great yoga classes at the Hot Yoga Om Studio.
Heated Hatha: Heated Hatha is an all levels yoga class designed to encourage proper alignment of the body.Practice in a warm room that is heated to 95-98°. Enjoy slow movements while building your stamina and flexibility.
Heated Hatha Yoga Classes are offered Mondays at 10 am, Tuesdays at 5:30 pm, Thursdays at 7 pm or Sundays at 10am.
Radiant Flow:Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Radiant Flow is a vinyasa flow style class that will allow you to mindfully explore, deepen, and advance your practice. Practiced in a heated room with temps around 98-103°, it is perfect for beginners.
Radiant Flow Yoga Classes are offered Mondays at 7 pm or Tuesdays at 7 pm.
Philosophy Flow Yoga with Laura: This is a thoughtful and flow-based yoga class in a room that is heated from 98-102°. Enjoy a hot yoga class with a philosophical theme on yoga, life, and spirituality.
Philosophy Flow Hot Yoga Classes are offered every Friday at 9 am.

It’s been so wonderful to see familiar and new faces to our hot yoga studio. We’ve been soaking in the healing far-infrared heat to help relax, restore and rejuvenate. We are continuing to adhere to CDC guidelines to offer our yoga students a safe practice environment. Hot yoga classes are still limited to 10 students and our classes are non-contact.
Also, our new fitness space next door, Studio B, has been a huge HIT with our HiiT classes (high intensity interval training). Get all the exciting July news here from the Hot Yoga Om Studio.

These high-intensity interval training classes take your workout to the next level with fun ways to burn fat and build muscle fast. Short bursts of intense exercise or intervals combined with periods of rest can boost your cardio-health and workout in a shorter amount of time compared to other types of exercise.
Our HiiT cardio classes are non-heated and lots of fun! The HiiT Yoga Classes blend high-intensity interval training with yoga-inspired moves to increase flexibility, strength and muscle. Featured Yoga Class for July – Yoga Nidra
Join Paris this Sunday, July 26th from 5-6:30 pm for a special Yoga Nidra class which includes a 30-minuted slow-flow yoga class with 45-60 minutes of relaaxtion. Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice of guided meditation used to induce deep relaxation and clear blockages to our personal growth.
The yoga class will begin with a short gentle flow to prepare our bodies for peaceful tranquility and then you will rest on the floor for the practice.
Bring mats and any props you’d like to allow comfort in savasana pose, such as a pillow, blankets, eye pillow, etc. The class will be warm (around 80 degrees).
The Yoga Nidra class is taught by Paris Hollnagel. Paris has practiced yoga for 10 years and has recently finished her 200 RYT. As a holistic Health Coach, she recognizes the importance of unity of mind, body, breath and spirit. She believes in the beauty of yoga carrying over into every day life. “What we learn on the mat, we take with us on our journey through life.”
Paris practices Trancendental Meditation, is a licensed health coach and Reiki Master Practitioner as well as 200 RYT.

A Message from Laura Tyree
Remember to breathe – take time to pause when you can. Take time to remember that your practice is a on-going practice, not just a practice on the mat. It’s a practice happening on the inside all the time, how you are relating to yourself, how you a relating to the world, how you are relating to all your current circumstances. Keep observing in that practice.
Accepting what’s happening right now, it’s tricky, but it allows us to relax. Releasing the resistance and focusing on what needs to happen next. What do I need to do next? How can I provide for myself? Self care! How can I provide for my family and the people who need me? Self-care!
We love you very much, thank you. Remember to sit, listen to beautiful music, read beautiful poetry, keep beauty in your life as we go through this tremendous change. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone. Namaste.
